Sadly, worse than book 1 and 2. This book was very boring and at times, it felt like a chore. Any stars are earned because, like the previous two books in the trilogy, it was beautifully written.

To me there was no catharsis, only an unearthing of rotting corpses of memories, a baring of still suppurating wounds.” What a ride… and it’s just the beginning of this emotional journey. The Farseer Trilogy was perfect. I’ve read a lot of books in the past few years and there are few I can say have been as good as these. I’ve learned so much from Fitz over the past couple months and I fear I am going to learn a lot more about myself in the upcoming books. I’m so happy to have found this world. Thank you Robin Hobb.
