A Spark To Flames

El is a village girl with a head full of fairy tales. Roman is a loyal soldier with the scars to prove it. Both are living a lie.

This is how the story is good versus evil, the noble Eadi versus the ruthless Vimata. After 50 years of war, the Eadi finally triumphed, reordering the world into Unifore and ushering a new age of peace and prosperity.

That is until El’s parents are wrongfully imprisoned, and Roman interrogates a Vimata rebel claiming the unthinkable. That the Sila, a mythical people with supernatural powers to destroy the Eadi, are real. El’s mission to reunite her family leads to the Vimata while Roman’s search for the Sila leads to El. Now she must play double agent, and he must break every rule he’s ever known. All while guarding their own secrets but more importantly, their hearts. As El and Roman’s paths hesitantly intertwine, they will unravel a world where magic exists and the past has been distorted by the wrong storytellers.

A world where betrayal knocks on every door.
