" 'Don't run from me,' I said. 'I can't call to you. Please don't run from me' "
Absolutely loved this book. The characters were so beautifully written. The only downside was that once the smut started it seemed like it never stopped. Otherwise I really enjoyed this read.
Don't get me wrong, this was such a cute book. I love how shy Archer was but my only main critique is that I wish Bree did more things. It almost fell as she was just doing the same things on repeat: getting up, showering, archers'. From what I could recall she only spent 2 night outs with her friend she made.
C'était compliqué de rentrer dans l'histoire. Mais quelques passages était bien.
This book was CRAZY. I didn't expect that direction of the story but I LOVED THEM they were so cuteI just thought it was a little too fast for me and I would have liked that some things went differently.BUT SO SOLID
If I'm being honest I only got this book because I picked up Travis in a charity shop and saw this came first. I've had it a while and just decided to read it and see what all the hype is about. It is definitely worth the hype!I absolutely loved this book and it has been added to my list of books that I will read again.Archer is such a sweetheart. Despite everything he has been through he was not completely closed off. Yes he was cautious and he had every right to be considering what adults in his life as well as people his own age have done to him.None worse for me that Victoria. The absolute audacity to blame a child for the faults of adults and continue to do it as he grows up and then when he is all alone made me beyond furious.Bree was an interesting character and she also has had some horrible things happen to her. It is understandable why she just wanted to get away and do an emotional reset. At first I liked the introduction of Travis as his book looked so interesting but the more I saw of him and his actions I have to be honest I don't know if he is redeemable even after what he did for Archer and Bree at the end of the book.I also think I was mad that he allowed his mom off the hook way too easily especially after her involvement in what happened to Archer and everything else over the years. Now this may be a c0ntroversial opinion but I actually agree with What Archer did after the parade, now I think he could of handled it a bit better, he did need those experiences and to see the world wasn't what he had built up in his head. It genuinely made him a stronger person for himself so he could be what he wanted to be for Bree.Honestly I love this book and will 100% recommend it to anyone
✨️REVIEW✨️ Archers Voice by Mia Sheridan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Wow! This book was so emotional. Literally just stopped crying. This book broke me and then put me back together. This is my first book from this author, and now I want to read everything she's written. @miasheridanauthor
⤷ Rating: 5/5 ⭐I am so mad at myself for not having read Archer’s Voice earlier. It’s literally perfect, incredible, and flawless. To be completely honest, I'm finding it difficult to put the story aside and find myself wanting to read the chapters repeatedly.⟡
This hurted me in the best way possible I can't describe the amount of crying I did Throughout this book, it was emotional, sad, funny and everything possible I could felt.I love it sm Archer and Bree will always have my heart .5⭐
I loved the writing and the storytelling. It handled the trauma well.
wont lie, it was the trauma bonding for me but it was such a beautiful story. but add archer hale to the list of fictional men that will never exist irl.
One of my all time favourite books, this is my second time reading it and I still love it as much as the first time I've read it! Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a cute romance with a lot of feelings.
Archer's Voice is one of the most touching and exquisitely written stories I have had the pleasure of reading. The author did an incredible job of evoking powerful emotions while providing striking visuals. This breathtaking story of survival, healing, and unconditional love should be on every romance reader's reading listArcher's Voice is the first book in the Where Love Meets Destiny series. It's also my first experience with Mia Sheridan's work. The story hidden in the pages was sweet, low on angst, and heartbreaking, but it left me feeling good in the end.I was hooked from the start, and soon I was invested in the story and Bree and Archer's lives. This demonstrated the brilliance of the author's writing style.Archer, although not the typical romance hero, is someone readers will have no problem falling in love with. Mysterious, silent, broken, withdrawn, protective, misunderstood, and caring are words one could use to describe Archer's persona. He endured so much pain and loss in the twenty-three years of his life. In the midst of all the pain, he presented a brave front. I enjoyed seeing him grow as the story developed.Bree is a brave and compassionate woman. She, too, experienced her share of loss and pain. An experience that saw her leaving home for a small town in Maine. She never expected to find hope, peace, and, most of all, love.As individuals, they were great, and together, they made a beautiful couple. Their romance gives the reader all the feels. Slow burn with lots of heat. Everything about their relationship, from their first meeting to their friendship and subsequent romance, felt authentic. I loved that Bree never took advantage of his naiveté, and she gave him space to become a better version of himself. The manner in which Archer cared for Bree will have die-hard romance readers swooning. While the story focused mainly on the romance, it also had some suspenseful moments that occurred near the end. A moment where my heart leapt to my throat. However, it all worked out, and the story ended on a beautiful and happy note.Archer's Voice delivered a story of hope and healing. Love has the power to heal, it brings hope and changes lives, and Archer's Voice aptly demonstrated this. If you haven't read this book, then I urge you to do so as soon as possible. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading
3 stars ⭐️“𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤.”𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐛Archer’s Voice follows Bree Prescott desperately looking for peace from her traumatising past meets Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own...𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬This was such a hyped book in the book community and I was really looking forward to it but ended up disappointed. It started out really good and I was well invested in the backstory of Bree and Archer. With so much trauma and hurt, my heart went out to both characters.Their initial interactions were heartwarming and the way Bree couldn’t stay away from Archer was so sweet! I was enjoying their subtle romance🥰Moreover, my heart goes to Archer, this man has been through so much and still stood strong. Despite everything, he grew up to be such a humble man🥹“𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐈’𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝.”Plus, the plot was fast-paced and engaging. It kept my attention and I looked for more sweetness to seep through but…I couldn’t feel any connection to the characters😔 The story progressed so fast that it didn’t give that depth to their relationship, and their personality. The only thing that defined them both was their past tragedy and trauma. We don’t see any character or relationship development or how they overcome the struggles. Sure, the “transformative power of love” helped but I wanted to see how (and no, sex doesn’t count in it)Moreover, many dialogues and sentences were repetitively used making the writing a bit bland. Because of this, the sweet ending lost its impact..One thing that irks me is the fact that “the whole town ignored a 7-year-old boy with such a trauma for so many years and is BFF with a total stranger??”😕𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐋;𝐃𝐑)Overall, it is a captivating read with a promising premise that tried to give depth to the plot but fell short because of bland characterisation and uninteresting writing style..
Okay.. I absolutely loved this book. From cover to cover, I was so hooked. Archer Hale is so so precious and deserves everything good. I was so sad the more I learned about his childhood and how people treated him. I love Archer and Bree SO MUCH. They are one of my favorite couples and Archer Hale will forever have my entire heart. The epilogue took me out. When the boys used sign, I cried. It was so wholesome, I loved it. Also, when he ran to her house in the middle of a thunderstorm because it triggers her PTSD? CRIED. It broke my entire heart and then healed it all over again. I don’t want to say goodbye to these characters. I have. Feelings about Travis.. Idk. I might still read his book, I’m not sure though.
