I'm back again to this series to read it while I'm listening to audiobooks at work. I know this one is on audible but I just felt like reading it from my Kindle instead.I've read a few more books on shifters that aren't the usual sort [wolves, mostly], so the bears aren't as odd anymore. But it certainly puts a new meaning to the man or the bear. In this case, the bear, or bears I should say, is WAY better. But this is only half of the story.A part of me wishes it had ended a bit before how it did, when the body collapsed. It would have left a deeper impact on the cliffhanger, leading to a, possibly, stronger desire to read the next book. But I'm also the type to dread those kinds of endings. I've seen them before and they are painful when done right but they certainly lead to a stronger desire for the next book, at least for me.But I've also read at least the first three books of this series so I know what's coming. However, the books that follow Grin and Bear It will be new territory that I'm excited to delve into.
