Описание

Will Stockton’s first solo collection of poetry!
“We get the quirky acts of invention that drive both poetry and sex, as well as the ways that we queers invent our own forms of love and kinship. We get the sex and profanity that some poems—like some stories, or some audiences—require. And I’m sure there’s some Foucault around here somewhere, not to mention Stockton’s oh-so-lightly-worn knowledge of literature, history, queer theory. These poems are sexy, smart, sometimes covered with adolescent sweat and cat hair, sometimes on wild flights of fancy about cosmology and Walden and Fred Phelps, sometimes imagining sex on an abandoned baseball field (between second and third base), moving deftly between theories of revolution and images of gay porn.”
— Ed Madden, author of Nest and Prodigal: Variations.

Brimstone‘s first edition is a limited, hand-bound book with a vellum cover, deckle edge, and gatefold pages that preserve the poet’s line breaks. Only twenty-five copies were produced of the first print run.
67 pages.
Featuring a cover illustration by Fredster!
