Suffering is an important part of a Christian's walk with Christ and is something that all of us experience. In Broken, Adam Simpson shares his life and reveals the many struggles that he has experienced. Some of these include internal bleeding, shootouts, family issues, heart surgeries, and at least three times when he should have died, but did not. Allowing his heart to harden toward God, Adam shows the reader why being mad at God is completely counterproductive and pointless. Looking back to the book of Job and reading other stories about David and Paul was an enlightenment in Adam's journey back to God. Adam wrote this book because his many struggles and sufferings has hit home with many individuals and will identify with you also.
