I feel like this books cared more about being deep than being good. I couldn't follow what was happening oftentimes, which I presume was intentional, but still not an element I enjoyed. I did kind of like the <spoiler>choose your own adventure bit</spoiler> at the end, but that also made it hard to follow too. Loved the body horror elements, but didn't love the book.
