La Zavarelli ha creato dei personaggi incredibilmente affascinanti e capaci di rapire il lettore, una storia che crea dipendenza e che rapisce il lettore. Un mix di emozioni e avvenimenti che ti tengono incollata alle pagine della storia fino a quando non si arriva alla fine. La storia entra quasi subito nel vivo e non ci si annoia mai durante la lettura, la scrittrice è stata capace di mantenere l'interesse del lettore sempre costante senza mai appesantire la lettura. Ci sono all'interno scene di violenza e scene di sesso che non sono scritte in modo volgare ma che rendono perfetta la storia.
