Посмотреть все⭐️3This is one where I just found it okay. The concept was great (I mean, the escape room aspect alone was enough to pique my interest), and the book wasn’t offensively bad, but it was by no means amazing—hence the 3-star rating. It was right down the middle for me. There were times when I found the present chapters set in the elevator far more enjoyable to read than the flashback chapters centered around Sara Hall’s narrative, and vice versa. I will say that I don’t think this book was as mysterious, thrilling, or suspenseful as I had hoped it would be, as at times it was slow-paced, repetitive, and dragged in places—especially the elevator chapters toward the end of the book. Thankfully, I found the ending to be decent and was satisfied with it. Overall, a fine read—not one that I think will be particularly memorable in the coming months, nor one I would advise others to rush to read, but not one I have a strong dislike for either.
