From its beginnings as a human-alien story of first contact, the Foreigner series has become a true science fiction odyssey. The odyssey continues—the epic tale of the survivors of a spacecraft that crash-landed on a planet inhabited by a hostile, sentient alien race. As atevi and humans seek to coexist in peace, the fragility of the situation worsens as the world of the atevi is further fragmented into different camps.
