Enchanted by Envy

An asexual Mantodea who yearns to be seen. A tender-hearted human who can’t look away.

Zefryn Ootyk is many things, but flexible is not one of them. They thrive on routine, boundaries, and a carefully constructed comfort zone—one that is immediately disrupted when their new human roommate moves in.

Accepted last minute to a study abroad program in the Hell dimension, Bryce Elliot is prepared for culture shock, awkward cohabitation, and possibly a little danger. What he doesn’t anticipate is falling head over heels for his demon roommate or how much patience—and baby teeth—it takes to win Zef’s affections.

Two roommates. One temporary arrangement. And deepening feelings neither of them planned for.

What could possibly go right?

Join Zef, Bryce, and the rest of the eccentric staff of The Passing Through Cafe in this laugh-out-loud LGBTQ+ urban fantasy rom-com, full of found family, comical cuddles, extraordinary exploration, and a love that knows no limits.
