This series was set up by the Expert-Center for Taxonomic Identification (ETI) of the University of Amsterdam on an initiative of UNESCO. Its aim is to provide scientists, students, and other interested parties with easily accessible, high-quality taxonomic and ecological information on the worlds biological diversity.
