Описание

Natsumi finds herself engulfed in grief following the tragic loss of her little sister, Haru, who meant everything to her. In the aftermath of the funeral, the weight of sorrow settles heavily upon her heart, leaving her to grapple with a profound sense of emptiness. Memories of their shared laughter and secret adventures haunt her, intensifying the ache of absence.

As Natsumi navigates the days post-loss, she begins to uncover hidden layers of Haru’s life, revealing a world she never fully understood. Each discovery leads her deeper into a labyrinth of emotions, where joy and pain intertwine. With the support of friends, Natsumi strives to honor her sister’s memory while grappling with the shadows of regret and unspoken words.

Amidst this turmoil, Natsumi’s journey morphs into a quest not only for closure but for self-discovery. As she confronts her feelings and faces the complexities of grief, she learns that love transcends even the most heartbreaking farewells. In this poignant tale, hope flickers amidst despair, reminding her that Haru’s presence will forever echo in her heart.

Re-wired my brain in a way I can’t explain. You always get a new perspective or a deeper understanding of these characters and their compounding complex situations with each new read—and since it’s short you can binge read this in 2 hours. I just did. The art may not be as polished as some books (i.e. their arms / proportions are a bit off in some pages), but the panelling and the story is still beautiful, and i find the art style super fitting. It added to the tone, for some reason… Can’t believe I found this book at 17, and how it still has an impact on me on my 6th re-read. I’m glad I’m at a point where I don’t sob uncontrollably reading this anymore, which means i can re-read this even more.
