Caitlyn and her mom are on the run, along with a very big secret. Caitlyn is a Paranormal... and that's illegal. Her ability to hear others' thoughts and sense their emotions could get Caitlyn killed. And as if life wasn't complicated enough, she and her mom are desperately searching for Caitlyn's brother, who vanished during the anti-Para Riots when the two of them were children - riots that resulted in the death of their father. So, Caitlyn does the only thing she can to stay safe: she blends in, keeps her distance from others, and pretends to be Normal. But as the government cracks down and new threats to Paranormals emerge, Caitlyn must decide if playing it safe really is her only option.
