This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do.
This afternoon, her planet was invaded.
The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.
But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.
Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more—Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.

Посмотреть все3.5 stars“Am I not merciful?”It was such a rollercoaster ride, I quite enjoyed reading this book. The format of the book is so interesting and ties in really well with the plot. At times, it was a bit repetitive and the start was actually really slow. I liked Kady's sarcastic and humorous personality, but I didn't like Ezra as much as I liked Kady. The secondary characters were really interesting as well. The romance between Kady and Ezra was ok, sometimes I just didn't even give a shit about their romance at all. Overall, it was a really refreshing, unique and fun book to read.
She is chaos. I can see why he loves her.”y bueno después de haber reposado el libro porque ayer me leí la mitad que me quedaba del tirón y fue una cosa muy mala porque me leí "TODO" puedo decir que si que le doy las 5 estrellas por todo, por lo que me ha hecho sentir, porque es una buenísima historia de sci fi como hacia tiempo que no veía/leía, porque los mensajes de ezra enamoran no solo a kady, porque AIDAN también se cuela en tu corazoncito, porque no sé que hubiera hecho sin mis Jess y Amp aunque anoche las odiara un "poco" jajaja y porque este libro se lo merece ♥“The universe owes you nothing, Kady. It has already given you everything, after all. It was here long before you, and it will go on long after you. The only way it will remember you is to do something worth remembrance.”
