She's smart, pretty and strong! When Nina first meets Adra, she isn't sure whether the new vamp girl will be a friend or a foe. When weird things start happening around town with someone stirring up the dark mummies and the bats, Nina suspects the new vampire family. Will it be them? Or is something else causing all the problems? Next, Nina and her family take a holiday. You know the type of holiday where you go somewhere for a purpose. You see, Nina's uncle's animal reserve in Africa is under attack, and he and the local tribespeople believe that magic is at play. But the magic is not the good type! After this problem is solved, Nina is challenged with yet a new dilemma. Her crush, Jimmy has discovered that his mother is missing and he asks Nina's family to help him find her. Complete with dark mummies, a flying-winged Saint Bernard dog, and scarecrow hunters on the backs of swooping hawks, this entire book is filled with action, humor, and life lessons as well. It is another great story that will keep you entertained right through until the end.
