I then read Blue Rose and then the Novella Star if Bethlehem, in each book you see the facets of Jack and Lily's relationship, so by the time I read Orange Blossom I understood where their relationship was heading. But as in real life, this book is not a fairy tale...To get to their HEA, Jack and Lily will have to deal with some traumatic stuff.Jack and Lily are one of my favourite book couples, Sarah writes from the heart she has put part of her soul into this series and it shows.Jack is in his final year of college, he is as happy as he has ever allowed himself to feel... His life has been traumatic to say the least and his sense of self worth is really low.Lily is his 'Perfect Princess' but even though he loves her beyond words, that isn't enough to keep his demons at bay.And that's all I will say, as I don't want to spoil it for other readers... I want them to experience it as I did, unaware of what the next page brought. Now this book effected me emotionally at the point where things start to unravel for Jack because it was so close to how I felt at a point similar to it... I was engrossed in the story so much, the emotions so real it took me a day to realise why it felt so personal.I then went through a period of guilt for not realising sooner... This is one of the reasons I love too read... Reading allows you to experience so much, happiness, tragedy you name it you can read about it.So in ending this review, I applaud Sarah Daltry in another great instalment of Jack and Lily's story and I can recommend the series to a variety of readers. I can't wait to read Ambrosia, which is the conclusion to the series... And as it happens I have it on my kindle waiting for me...
