Nezáleželo na tom, nakolik jsem popustila uzdu fantazii, vždycky mě nakonec zavedla na stejné místo.
Zavedla mě k němu.
Moje budoucnost byla jasná, protože jí byl on.
Ale najednou... to tak nebylo.
Rodina a přátelství pro mě vždycky byly na prvním místě a nikdy jsem si nic nepřála víc, než být mámou. A celá léta jsem toužila jen po jednom klukovi.
Myslela jsem si, že se všechno stane tak, jak očekávám. Že se moje holčičí sny do puntíku splní a mě a mého prince čeká pohádkově šťastný život.
Stačila jedna noc a všechno se zvrtlo.
A když jsem konečně zahlédla světlo na konci tunelu, všechno se mi zhroutilo podruhé… a tentokrát je to ještě mnohem horší, než jsem si kdy dokázala představit.
Teď jsem jen stín holky, kterou jsem bývala, tápu v mlze a snažím se najít cestu ven.
Nevím, jak to napravit.
Říká se, že první láska trvá věčně.
A přesně toho se bojím.

I started this book and I was not sure what to feel about it but quickly I fell into this story and I couldn’t stop reading. This story is so well written and I have to admit that throughout the story I was scared to keep on reading as I knew it was to happy peppy. That’s what made me so anxious while reading this because, I think this is the same with movies, when something is to happy and colourful you know shit is about to go down! Ohhhhh and down it went but not in the way I suspected it to be. This story was beautiful, heartbreaking, emotional and an absolute masterpiece. I even dare to say that this is the most beautiful contemporary romance I have read! Thank you Meagan Brandy for creating these amazing characters and this amazing story. Please keep doing what you do. Because you are an amazing writer!
I had read this before I couldnt remember it at all. But I was constantly gettinf tiktoks which made me think why didn't I love this because it has all the tropes I like. But the writing was like a 14 year old wrote it I don't understand how this has such high ratings. I listened to the audiobook and it was not good at all. I pushed through just so I could remember the ending but skipped through so fast just to get it over. Tiktok definitely tricked me.
