Nothing is as it appeared to be! All of their lives the now grown sisters believed that their father was an alcoholic, their mother a long-suffering wife. Yet now, in planning their mother’s funeral, Faith, Honor, and Chastity discover that much of what they believed about their parents and each other is untrue. Did their mother give them their burdensome names in order to please their rich, pious grandmother? And, if all that money existed, why was Chastity, the last born, the only one to attend college?
