Посмотреть все4.5 ⭐I liked Collide, hated Spiral. But I loved Revolve.Sierra and Dylan are amazing as characters and as a couple. I loved their chemistry, the banter, but most of all, I loved the emotional depth and maturity both of them had.The approach to mental health and trauma topics was so careful and beautiful, it made this story very special, like a hug to my heart.
Thank you SO much to Valentine PR and Bal Khabra for this ARC 💜After a serious injury, Sierra Romanova is back and ready to restore her impeccable reputation as a figure skater, but her lack of a partner complicates things. Fortunately (or unfortunately) for her, Dylan Donovan is great on the ice and happens to have a lot of free time since he got kicked out of his hockey team. Teaming up could be great… or disastrous, but since neither have another option, they will have to make it work and try not to bicker too much!I enjoyed [b:Collide|197306586|Collide (Off the Ice, #1)|Bal Khabra|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1692608727l/197306586._SY75_.jpg|199854878] and [b:Spiral|199246937|Spiral (Off the Ice, #2)|Bal Khabra|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1720532578l/199246937._SY75_.jpg|203248119] so I was excited about this one, and it didn’t disappoint.I had my doubts about the characters, especially after reading “frat” which usually is a red flag 😅 but I trusted [a:Bal Khabra|22668895|Bal Khabra|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1725669984p2/22668895.jpg] and Dylan and Sierra quickly became my favorite couple of the series (for now 🤭). They had great chemistry from the start and their flirty little banter was perfect. Like in the previous books, we get to explore the characters’ backstory and their struggles, but I felt like this one went deeper into the sports aspect which I loved. We get to see more of what it takes to be an athlete and the pressure and mental toll it might take on someone. Dylan’s growth through the book was nice, but it’s Sierra’s story that really got to me. I’d also like to give a bonus points for the secondary characters, but I’ll let future readers discover all about them 💜The biggest problem with this book is that it’s not even out yet, and It had me wanting the next already 🥲
