Allison Daley is a smart, sexy, and very alone public relations professional who is trying to build her own business after the recent death of her mother. Jackson McCain is the brash, famous, infamous, cocky country music star who has only one thing going against his career – himself. Much to his dismay, Allison is tasked with spinning McCain’s scandalous image into something more reputable. But as she soon learns, it’ll be much easier to kill him or fall in love with him than repair his reputation given McCain’s constant refusal to cooperate.

However, McCain’s not Allison’s only obstacle. With a tenacious, ladder-climbing reporter, a vindictive, female opening act, and a sudden public relations nightmare to contend with, Allison will resort to the most drastic of measures to help Jackson McCain.
