The Bright Side

For ages 5-12 The Bright Side was inspired from the author's own experiences in dealing with incurable cancer in a positive way. In the story, a grandmother shares her wisdom and strength with her grandchildren to help them understand the difference between being negative or positive, and to help them see that there is a bright side to every negative situation. It is a lesson that all parents hope their children will learn. The story promotes positive interation between parents and their children, or teachers and students, to share ideas. More than ever before, children need to find the bright side in their daily adversities. This book guides them to this understanding.
