I am so glad I've given this book a chance. My first instinct not to read it due to it being said to be a romantasy made me back away. But then I learnt that it's not at all. It is a fantasy with some romance and a whole lot of politics and interest!I was hooked on the story, and I definitely am so glad I gave it a chance. The characters are interesting and the world is fun. Definitely a worthy read.I am so confused why people thought the start of the book was slow. I found that the start and middle were the most interesting parts. Though I did enjoy the end!

It wasn't as amazing as I remember but still solid. Taryn pls stfuCan't wait for the second one!

Alot of ppl hated this book because it was "boring". I dont find it boring, the book just got better n better, so therefore ill give this a 4.5/5 ⭐
