Описание

In a captivating continuation of the beloved story from André Aciman, readers are invited back into the lives of Elio and Oliver as they navigate the complexities of love, longing, and identity. Set against the backdrop of beautiful landscapes and poignant memories, this narrative delves deeper into the emotional aftermath of their unforgettable summer together.

The exploration of time and its effects on relationships takes center stage, as both characters grapple with their past and seek to find solace in the present. Aciman's signature prose elevates the intimate moments, creating a profound connection with the reader, while introducing new characters that enrich the existing dynamic.

Amidst the nostalgia and heartache, themes of acceptance and the search for belonging emerge, making this tale not just a romance but a journey of self-discovery. As Elio and Oliver confront their desires and fears, they remind us of the transformative power of love that lingers long after the seasons have changed.

Романтика

I honestly don’t think there was a need for this book… I was very excited to read this, read the first 60% without too much enjoyment, put it down because I had things to do and then completely forgot about it. I picked it back up only because I didn’t want to dnf it, but I skipped so many parts in the end… Overall I would say don’t waste your time, the first book was so much better than that.
