Witch Days

“Rebecca. Such a beautiful woman, if rather severe. What has she done?”
“She’s threatened to torment me if I don’t do as she wishes … and Edward, what she wishes, I cannot do.”

Fearing the wrath of the spirit of Rebecca Dane, Belinda Moorland is happy to accompany her handsome millionaire employer, Eric Manning, to Witch Days - Devilswood’s annual founding day celebration. There, Belinda meets the historical society - a group of women also known as the Pastels - who fawn over Eric, humiliate Belinda, and are mortal enemies of Mrs. Heller. Amidst the speeches, picnicking, and reenactments of witch-burning, stoning, and hanging, romance and murder are afoot.
