我被莫名其妙地送往天堂的一家「披薩店」，遇到一個老愛用長袖遮掩傷疤的神秘帥哥派區克。他說我得經過五個階段的考驗才能真正往前走，但誰知道那是什麼鬼東西？我只想回家！於是派區克陪我回到人間，卻發現原來大家都對我隱瞞了天大的祕密，甚至雅各還跟我最要好的姊妹淘莎蒂搞曖昧！
我決定展開我的「復仇」計畫，討厭的派區克卻不時出面阻撓我，不知道究竟安的是什麼心？而且為什麼我看他覺得越來越眼熟？更不妙的是，我好像有點喜歡上他了……

Book review #3 of 2021Rating: 4 out of 5This was the book that got me into reading about 8 years ago. To reread it now was so much fun! Some parts were a little cringy but I'm willing to overlook those parts.Brie (15) dies of a broken heart, like literally. And she wakes up to find herself in the old pizzeria she used to visit with her parents. There she meets Patrick, resident lost soul. He teaches her about the afterlife and the stages of grief she has to go through. From there the story picks up with cheesy jokes, heartbreaking scenes and quite a few plot twists.I do think some parts of this book are a bit immature or cringy so if you don't like that I wouldn't read it. But overall it's really fun! Especially with every chapter having the lyric of a (80's) love song.
