*** Gifted in exchange for an honest review***I have read book 1 in this "New Generation" series and In book 2 is Gabby’s story.Gabby is in trouble and she calls her brother Joey to come help her find out who has taken her boyfriend - the human that she has kept secret from her family.Gabby has been sheltered but she has found her mate and she is not going to let anyone tell her shes too young ! No, she is ready to step into her adulthood with or without her mothers and fathers permission. It seems that the past is ever present and it seems that dark magic is in use, Gabby has no option but to get her parents involved and the hunt is on for the search for Teddy.I have not read The First series - but that has not been an issue, I do have the original series but unfortunately I always get something sent that needs reading before it! One Day I will see how Peri met Josef and Gabe!As always the story flows well, the characters have problems to solve and have to work together to achieve them.
