Beach Read

I enjoyed this book, I have to be honest and say it wasn’t that much into the book, it took me a long time to finish it. But I liked the story, the characters, they were complex but very honest, I loved January, her mild disbelief in love after what happened when she found out about her father. And I loved Gus, his complete disbelief in love for his whole life. I like that they found and made each other better, they were able to trust each other. College rival then neighbor, that was a great idea, I loved Gus’ personality, I think I thought this was going to be a rom-com but it isn’t like that, maybe that’s what I missed the most.

I loved this book. It was definitely better than People We Meet on Vacation.I loved the premise and relationship between January and Gus. Also I loved Pete and Shadi.
