Beskrivning

Lena's existence is confined within the suffocating walls of a remote shack nestled deep within the woods. With no windows to the outside world, her reality is dictated by a man who enforces his ruthless rules. Each day is a battle for survival, as fear looms over her and her two children, shaping their lives into a twisted semblance of normalcy. In this harrowing atmosphere, the lines between protection and manipulation become perilously blurred.

As the story unfolds, Lena’s desperate longing for freedom collides with the harsh reality of their situation. Her children's innocence serves as both a beacon of hope and a reminder of the consequences that defiance could bring. The bond they share is tested at every turn, forging a narrative steeped in both love and sacrifice. Lena’s instincts drive her as she navigates a precarious landscape filled with threats that lurk both inside and outside their confined world.

This gripping tale explores the depths of a mother's love and the lengths to which one will go to protect their family. It raises profound questions about identity, resilience, and the enduring power of hope in the face of unimaginable adversity. Readers will find themselves engrossed in Lena's plight as she seeks a way to reclaim her life and the future of her children, challenging the darkness that binds them.

At the beginning I was bord to be honest but like after 40 pages or so I was hooked. Love the story it was really interesting couldn't stop reading it especially at the end of it. But I hated the girl Hannah oh my god she is so annoying and I hated how the grandfather only cared for her and not the boy, he deserves better.
