Die Gabe der Könige

Meu primeiro livro lido da Robin Hobb e adorei, estava um tempo querendo ler algum livro dela e comprei esse que estava parado em minha estante virtual do Kindle. Um livro maravilhoso e perfeito varios momento de sempre querer saber mais porque não teve tanto aqueles momentos que cansa. Quando vi que era de fantasia pensei que haveria varios tipos e como falava de animais também pensei que teria algum animal diferente mas no momento só tinha um mas mesmo assim o livro é impressionante de bom. Varias reviravoltas muito boas e ainda quero mais, pena que sofre demais. Já tenho os próximos livros e quero saber até onde vai, quero a morte de alguns personagens.

It was so good. It was my first Robin Hobb book and I wanted to enter her universe. I can say that I'm glad I did! This book was everything I didn't know I needed and I believe it's the introduction to the rest of the trilogy but also the rest of the universe and that it's only going to get better and better.

What I can say about the book is that it was pretty fucking good. There's no other words to describe it, except that it was really good, it did take its time to put things into motion but still it did this in a perfectly right timing that I didn't really mind. I never felt bored when I read the book but I can say I did feel quite a lot of emotions. I felt pride, I felt anger, I felt sorrow and I can't wait to see what the others are going to make me feel.

Concerning the characters : I really f****** loved Fitz. That's my son, my precious son and I don't know if he's going to be in the next books though seeing that it's the farseer trilogy and he is Fitz chivalry Farseer, I hope he is going to be there. But also I really loved Burrich, he literally was like the father that stepped up tbh and also Chade and the Fool.

For Chade I do like the approach he has with Fitz and I hope we're going to see more of him in the next book because I really like his relationship with Fitz. I hope that his Assassin's skills will grow and he gets better at it and I hope he does learn to Skill with Verity , well whenever he has a time and he's not like, you know, trying to man a war.

About the Fool: I love him.. them? I NEED more of them in the book. Like if only we could het his pov or anything really, il begging for Fool's crumbs at this point.

Anyways, can't wait for the next book

O início do livro foi um pouco lento para mim, então demorei um pouco para me envolver com a história. A narrativa em primeira pessoa também não ajudou muito, já que tudo é contado a partir da perspectiva do protagonista, o que acaba limitando um pouco a visão dos acontecimentos e dos personagens.Da metade para o final, porém, a história realmente engrena. Os mistérios envolvendo os Forjados, as intrigas políticas e os segredos do reino deixaram a leitura muito mais envolvente. Também fiquei bastante curiosa para descobrir quem é o Bobo e qual o significado das mensagens enigmáticas que ele transmite.
