Enter Poppy, the 17-year-old cynic with a serious addiction to banana milk, and Noah, the heart-throb guitarist; residents of mediocre Middletown, sometime students, and…soulmates.
After a chance meeting at a local band night, Poppy and Noah find themselves swept up in a whirlwind romance unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before. But with a secret international agency preparing to separate them, a trail of destruction rumbling in their wake, (and a looming psychology coursework deadline), they are left with an impossible choice between the end of the world, or a life without love…

Visa alla-I already really like the introduction to the book but it also makes the potential ending really sad...I think the book is more about the idea of falling in love instead of them together as the last line isn't giving me any hopes...least he is a hot British guitarist
-My hypothesis is that her "anxiety disorder", that came up about two years ago, is because he's in the vicinity of her...he moved to the area 2 years ago and has was diagnosed with depression...she is now passing out more than normal (2 times in 1 week) especially when they are in close proximity...she just drops without a panic so I think it's something to do with their "soulmate" connection
-Still don't really know what's going on at the moment as I'm only like 150 pages in...but there's definitely something between them that relatea to this whole "soulmate" idea and the scientists are saying that they're going to end the world...so that's reassuring...
-At this point I'm just kind of hoping for a plot twist where the Soulmates aren't actually Noah and Poppy, but I know that's not going to be the case
-He wrote her on acoustic guitar song and sung it in front of everyone when he was being a support act 🥰
-They chose that it was better for them to not ever see each other again to see each other but never be able to touch
- Epilogue is a celebration after 2 years
