Educated Corpses

Jimmy Doyle returned home from the war to begin his career as a private detective working for Lucius Fogg, the preeminent occultist in 1950’s New York City. Together they help the police with cases too bizarre for the normal laws of man. In his time working as Fogg’s legman, Doyle has come across all manner of monsters including vampires, werewolves, golems and demons. But their latest case introduces them to a new creature birthed from a melding of science and the supernatural.

It all starts when a voice from Doyle’s past calls for help and opens a door to painful memories and unfinished business. At the same time he must deal with a missing dog, mass murder, a new love interest, the Vampiric Order crumbling and a crazed, murderous gorilla.

Educated Corpses, the third novel in the Lucius Fogg series focuses on what made Doyle the man he is today and calls him to task for the choices he has made. But, even bigger forces are in play as Doyle begins to unlock powers deep inside of him that could change the fate of the world.
