While Katniss grapples with her newfound fame and the potential role of the reluctant symbol she has become, her relationships are tested, especially with Peeta Mellark. Their complicated bond now serves as an emotional battlefield, trapped between survival and the haunting memories of the Games. As the oppressive grip of the Capitol tightens, Katniss finds herself caught in a web of political machinations and personal dilemmas, pushing her to become more than just a victor.
Amidst the chaos, Katniss must decide where her loyalties lie and confront the reality of her impact on a society yearning for change. With each decision, she moves closer to a confrontation that could alter the course of history, testing not only her strength but the strength of those around her.

Visa allaIn the sequel, Suzanne Collins dives even deeper into the inner works behind the dystopian regime, revealing the restriction of the freedom of speech or self expression and the means of power and fear that the Capitol uses to silence any unrest. How the preexisting unsatisfaction with the government amongst the poorer or more industrialised districts just needed a spark to revolt against the government. Katniss Everdeen with her acts of defiance against the Capitol and her Mockingjay were just the spark before the great fire, the catalyst that led to a nationwide uprising.
I like it.But,I find it slow-paced,somehow boring sometimes especially in the beginning. As a result,I didn't want to continue reading, but I did it and it turned out to be far better than I expected. And toward the end it became what I really want to read. Most of the time when I read a sequel I have this feeling.Especially in this case,Hunger Games is really awesome in comparison with its sequel.
