His long tail would instinctively stump up and down in the floor as it chased away flies and his breathing would get louder every time he looked up at her. She had to get used to the mind reading ability that she would mostly have to voice all her comments even the nasty and sarcastic ones. He stretched his hand toward her and she moved closer to him swiftly and landed in her recent favorite position. She let her head rest on his fury chest and loved how hard his heart beat in his chest.
“This is crazy”, she thought.
“I know and yet here we are”, he replied as he ran his claws on her smooth face. She wanted to kiss him but his scaly mouth was not so appetizing. She let her head rest on his chest again and thought of nothing else after all nothing else really mattered.

In 2115, the Earth is attacked by an unknown alien force far outside of the Milky Way Galaxy, and a quarter of the world’s population is wiped out in the blink of an eye. In response to the attack, the World Space Organization locates the source of the deadly strike—an Earth like planet in the distant Andromeda galaxy—and prepares an invasion fleet of three massive ships called the Goliath's. The ships will largely house 600,000 battle ready androids, but will be flown by three human pilots.
24-year-old Blake, the beautiful daughter of two prominent Earth artists, and a brilliant pilot and engineer, is selected to fly the third ship, Goliath III. She is enraged by the mass slaughter of her people and wants revenge despite the wishes of her parents.
As the long, solitary flight progresses, Blake becomes lonely, having no one to speak or interact with because of the strict communications blackout instated by the WSO so that the attack can be as much of a surprise as possible. So the brilliant and innovative engineer begins to build herself a companion, using her maintenance android, Tobey, to craft someone to eradicate her long hours of loneliness.
Over the next 30 years, Blake and Tobey will test the boundaries what is considered life and love and create a bond far greater than most human beings will ever know.
