Five Sermons:

This collection of sermons by Henry Martyn had not been published prior to 1862, and hail from his ministry in the early 1800s as he traveled to and served in India. Included is a letter from Henry Venn to G. T. Fox regarding the past, present, and future state of missionary enterprise.

These seven sermons (two have been added as appendices) clearly show Martyn's style of preaching and his deep passion for bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who had never heard it. Unyielding, Martyn doesn't shy away from unpopular topics, such as Hell. Instead, he presents the truth of Scripture as given by God for the benefit of many. These gems are true treasures indeed, and a blessing to any library.
