Beskrivning
Mike wakes up to discover darkness has consumed the world. No sun. No sky. No stars. Only blackness. A grim shroud blanketing the earth.
Before he can question what has happened, or even his own sanity, great beasts swarm out of the void and begin a lethal assault on mankind. They are brutal but not mindless. Mike soon realizes there's method in their attacks. The beasts kill many but allow a few to live. Why? What purpose does it serve to keep some people alive? And why is Mike one of them?
In a world without a sun and filled with monsters, can hope defeat despair? GONE, THE DAY is a novelette about the end of the world.
"...a rippin' good yarn." - Stacey Cochran, author of CLAWS and THE COLORADO SEQUENCE
