Hard Knocks

-This seems very different from other ones because it tends to be hockey players either in college or hockey players in top NHL teams but with this one it seems to be that he's in low level leagues not making millions and he could get cut
-They meet in the first chapter when Serge is being treated for a concussion, and then they meet again later on and sleep together that night it's not emotional, so she leaves, and that is that
-Now she's written a piece about banning hockey in Portland, which doesn't help him considering his on a dying team, and people don't like his team anyway, but also, the fact that he now hates her... all because of her dad has a disease, e.g. Parkisons, she is just blighting her trauma out on him, but also, she's a little bit worried about him
-It is always so weird when you have a series of books based off each friends romance but in one of the books they are describing the person in the next book as a not very nice person and to then read that romance is just really weird
-There places of work are pitting them against each other about their argument on social media even though they have twisting it up and trying to make it against the arena where she's just trying to save athlete's lives...maybe specifically Adam
-It is like Serge said, Adam doesn't want to play hockey anymore or have anything to do with it because he doesn't live it anymore...he has lost the joy he once had and he isn't as far up the NHL as he probably would have wanted and now he seems stuck as he doesn't know what to do of he did get put
-We're at the point where both arguments are valid...she is so scared that what has happened to her dad will happen to Adam whereas he wants to be with her for the long haul but she is just not giving enough for them to be together as she can not get the fact that he plays a dangerous sport out of her mind...she has already decided she is going to lose him
-They get back together but their wasn't much pining...very realistic with them
