Recensioner
March is a graphic novel based on the life of the American politician and civil rights activist, John Lewis. It tells of his upbringing and what influenced him to be an activist, from raising chickens to suing the state of Alabama for admission to college. This novel deals with the history of racism and segregation, and the historical figures who dealt with these issues. This novel was very informative. I would recommend it to young adolescents who are interested in history but may need visuals and a more interactive approach to learning about it. This novel does a good job of combining visuals with the memoir of John Lewis to provide an interesting story for adolescents to learn about and understand. Content Warnings:> racism> violence
