Alexander Gillespie has never believed in the brittleness of faith. His devotion to God is the steadfast cornerstone of his philosophy, one that cannot be broken. His faith affords him a sense of security and comfort in an otherwise chaotic world.
The entity known only as Subject 0 has never believed that evil can triumph over virtue. Her law is one of justice, of fighting for what is good and fair in the world. Her purpose is the purpose of all the eternal battle to hold the monsters at bay.
