This series was hard to read, not because the story was poorly written, but because it was extremely triggering at times. If anyone in your life has ever been affected by drug usage, addiction, or suicide, just really think through reading this series.I do not personally have experience with addiction, but I felt the books were well researched and presented the complex issues without glamorizing them.But. With all that aside, there was too much build up and not enough feel good conclusion for the time invested in this storyline.
