Mehhh this was okay-ish. I wouldn't say it is memorable or it actually had quite a story-line. It was pure smut. After reading the entire duet, i can say 100% this entire series was overhyped for absolutely no reason. These books wasn't exciting in any way really even when stuff was revealed.
While I love Hayden this book just didn't have the same effect as the first one. Not bad just not as good
This could’ve been one big book. Two books felt like overkill when it could’ve just been one 500 page book or something. Especially when the first didn’t even end on much of a cliffhanger. Also feel like, as smart as Hayden is, he should’ve figured out who owned the drug company, the rebrand, and literally everything else pertaining to that. <spoiler>I also thought that her father would be more guilty than he was. Yes he helped put the drug out, but I thought he would’ve had more tithes in the business than that.</spoiler> Loved the first one; this one not so much.
