I was certain that they would remain my favorite pairing throughout the entire series. However, everything changed when I encountered Joey and Aoife. Their story captivated me in a way I never anticipated, and I found myself completely enchanted by their journey.The emotional depth they portrayed, the struggles they faced, and the healing they experienced resonated with me on a profound level. It was as if their connection struck a chord within me that I didn’t know existed. I never expected to become so deeply invested in another couple, but now, it’s hard to envision loving anyone else with the same intensity that I feel for them.I find myself at a loss for words to express the whirlwind of emotions I’m experiencing right now. This book has utterly shattered me, leaving me in a state of profound reflection. As I sit here, attempting to sort through my thoughts, my mind keeps returning to the poignant story of Joey and Aoife. They are two individuals who, despite facing unimaginable hardships, managed to discover love midst their suffering. He is a character steeped in pain, burdened by guilt and self loathing, and all I longed for was to reach out from the pages and reassure him that he is enough, always has been. Each time he faltered, each moment he struggled to make amends, I felt his anguish deeply; it was as if I could sense the heavy toll of his relentless fight against a life that continually seeks to bring him down.“All I could see was her. The girl from the wall.”Unlike the typical romantic hero, Joey is strikingly authentic, embodying a rawness that makes him profoundly relatable. Beneath his tough exterior lies a tender heart, making him both complex and endearing. He is my angel boy, my favorite, the one who stands out as the most special and perfect character I’ve ever encountered.ˋ°•*⁀➷ Joey and Aoife:This couple represents my own personal Roman Empire, a testament to resilience and enduring love. My admiration for her has grown immensely through the previous books, but this latest installment deepened my feelings even further. The way she advocates for Joey and stands by him, despite his struggles, profoundly impacts my emotional state. I am incredibly grateful for her character, especially her ability to listen and support him through his turmoil. Throughout the book, I found myself thinking, “Surely, she has done enough,” only to be surprised by her continued strength and compassion, leaving me feeling both vulnerable and moved.I am eagerly awaiting a book centered on Edel Kavanagh; her story deserves to be told. I would go to great lengths, even sacrificing my left kidney, just to experience her journey through the pages. Her character resonates deeply, and I believe her narrative would captivate many readers, just as it has captivated me.ˋ°•*⁀➷ Lizzie:The unexpected appearances of Lizzie in this book were a delightful surprise, and I find myself grateful for her contributions to the story. At first glance, she may come across as a cold and emotionally distant character, but as the narrative unfolds, it becomes clear that beneath that exterior lies a genuinely kind and warm hearted individual. Her actions reveal a depth of compassion that adds richness to the plot, making me eager to delve into her own story in the upcoming book. And finally they are here.ˋ°•*⁀➷ The only part that I want to be a hater but I know I loved the book, can you blame me? no.Sorry, but I hated the pregnancy trope. I don’t like it when in romances, especially with toxic couples or very difficult situations, authors drop the pregnancy bomb as the reason why the couple succeeds. NO IT'S NOTT, I WANTED TO SEE HOW THE STORY GO WITHOUT THIS BS. In this case, Aoife’s pregnancy is used as an excuse for her not to leave Joey and to give Joey a supposed reason to go to rehab, when I think it would have been much better for him to find that strength in her, in his desire of living and his brothers, in addition, I found it very uncomfortable since Joey repeats throughout the four books of this series that HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE A FATHER. LET HIM TAKE A BREAK OF 2 MINUTES PLSS!!Finishing Redeeming 6 felt like closing a chapter of my own heart. Joey and Aoife’s story changed something in me, the way I see love, pain, and healing. It reminded me that love doesn’t always come dressed in perfection; sometimes it’s found in the mess, in the breaking, in the trying. Watching them fight for each other, even when it hurt, made me believe in second chances again.I know, deep down, that I’ll never forget them, because Joey and Aoife didn’t just tell a story. I thought shannon n johnny was great but this book just left me speechless af. So much went on... Every page was worth it!!
