This weekend was supposed to be about one thing - watching my older brother marry the love of his life surrounded by friends and family. I didn’t expect it to change my life.
My brother’s best friend, Caleb Cutter, is the best man. He’s also the man I’ve had a crush on for years. What I didn’t expect was for him to have feelings for me too. One thing leads to another and we spend the night together.
One night that feels like it could be so much more.
He feels it too. The only problem is he plays hockey for the Orlando Storm in Florida and I'm headed to law school in Toronto. Except I don’t want to be a lawyer. Haven’t wanted to for a while.
Now I have to figure out what’s more important to me - following the path set out for me or taking a risk and moving thousands of miles away for the man I might be falling in love with.
Scoring Chance is an Orlando Storm prequel novella. It is about 15K words (about 65 pages) and does end in a happily ever after. It is intended for audiences 18+ and contains open door spice.
