Beskrivning
An Original Publication. This is a 25,000-word novelette that is the fourth volume of a nine-volume New Adult serial with mystery, romance and missing memories. Now part of the boxed set Dead Ringers: Volumes 4-6.
Should you listen to your heart—or your head?
Jade Greene has barely accepted the existence of Ringers, and now she has to consider that Max Harper could be one of them. His mother insists that the Max who returned home after being missing is an imposter, yet Jade doesn’t want to believe that Max is the enemy.
She can’t ignore the mounting evidence that somebody in Midway Beach has figured out how to transfer the essence of one person into another. Or the horrifying speculation that the original is done away with.
And now there’s a new problem. The Strangler, a serial killer who’s choked the life out of six girls in two different states, has been sighted in town. He could be in Midway Beach to body hop, and Jade needs to stop him. Unless, that is, he gets to her first.
