In this fantasy short story a "wizard" is recruited from our world to travel to another world where a kingdom of humans and elves is threatened with destruction by an army of goblins and orcs. The hero proves the validity of Arthur C. Clarke's Third Law: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." the story is a bit over 19,200 words.
