I caught this at the right time. I'm in the middle of a big leap of my own, and Santiago's journey resonated in a way it wouldn't have a year ago. The story captures the emotions and feelings that the difficult part was never the adventure...but the decision to leave the familiar behind, before you have any proof it'll work out.Don't usually read fables, but in this Coelho strips everything down until there's nowhere for the idea to hide, then trusts you to sit with it. It reads in an afternoon but it lingers a lot longer than the length suggests. Glad I finally got to it.
Uma história inspiradora. Não tenho religião ou crenças no espiritual, no entanto esta história ensinou me a nunca desistir, que mesmo que algo me corra mal, sempre tentar. Em acreditar em mim e na minha intuição.
