This book is perfection. The complexity, the twists and turns, the characters. For any true book lover, it will grab you by the heart and pull you in a million different directions. It will have you reacting out loud and have you in tears at parts but you will be oh so greatful to have taken the journey.Thank you to the publisher for the ARC.
"The Book Witch" is a very meta love story about books and those who protect them told through a tale within a tale. I loved this book from page 1, which rarely happens to me. As a self-proclaimed bibliophile, I was entertained by the way the author weaved story structure and other writing essentials into the plot. I fell deeply for these lovable characters, and the plot twist totally got me. I adored the way the author made published novels and children's books a central part of the plot. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves books, and loves reading about books.Meg Shaffer has knocked it out of the park again.
