This was a buddy read with 2 of my best good friends :)I have been putting this off to read because it was one of those books that was, in my opinion, overhyped and that always worries me going into a book that I will be disappointed.Now I have read a few billionaire troupe books and while I didn't always like what I read one of my favourite series of all time is billionaire so I will always give it a go.This was my first Lauren Asher book and I was pleasantly surprised.Rowan and Zahra were characters that I found myself invested in knowing how they would grow and be the couple I know they would be at the end.The plot was interesting and easy to follow. Rowan was like a sweet that has a hard shell but a really sweet squishy centre. I love how he was that side for Zahra and risked his relationship with his brother to do what he wanted to be with Zahra.Now of course this book has the final 100 page conflict that most romance books has and while I find that annoying it didn't last as long as it could have been so for that I was grateful.Now a side character that I absolutely loves was Zahra's sister Ana. How Rowan was with her was just so freaking adorable.This truly was Grumpy x Sunshine. Rowan and Zahra were written perfectly and they were so opposite that they just fit.I would definitely recommend this book.
A little softer than most romance books I read, but it was sweet.
