The Sober Slayers

Katie McCallister wants to slay dragons, save the kingdom, and become a hero but, time and again, all she finds around the gaming table are jerks telling dick jokes.

But then she and her friends discover a magic book, one that transports them into the game itself. Possessing the awesome powers of their characters, they set off to find a noble quest in need of mighty adventurers.

They’ll finally get a chance to become the champions they long to be ... or at least they would if this was a typical GameLit story. But you’re not reading one of those are you? No, because you’ve picked up a case of ... SHINGLES .
