The small Arizona town of Ab's Gulch has live with a curse ever since its first native settlers lived on the land. In the late 1800s, the curse calls upon the land again. A dozen men must walk into the desert with no food and no weapons. It is their responsibility to make a sacrifice to the land in order for their loved ones to survive. But as they die off one by one, they come to understand that the dark secrets of the land are for more sinister than their small town myths could have ever explained.
